Does Tit Tape Really Work For Fuller Busts?

The verdict is in, and I’m just as shocked as you are.

Plunging necklines are tricky when you have big boobs. It’s often hard to gage how low-cut a dress or top is until you’ve got it on and half your bra’s on show – not the desired outcome.

As a H-cup, I can’t go braless in a plunging style and I’ve never had faith in tit tape. My boobs weigh roughly 5kg, which is a lot to hold up with only two pieces of adhesive fabric. I’ve never seriously considered tape as an option, instead I’ve avoided deep plunging necklines, until someone recommended Perky Pear to me.

Obviously, wearing tape is never going to be as comfortable or supportive as a bra would be, but for the purpose of this dress, the tape actually did a great job.

I ordered the tape in the largest size Perky Pear offer (F-G), which meant it was a little on the small side for me. So, wearing a sleeved dress worked perfectly, as it hid any side-boob spillage.

Putting them on was a bit tricky, and in hindsight I definitely should’ve watched the how to videos first. It’s great that they provide two pairs, because my first attempt wasn’t so smooth.

The tape itself is super sticky, which is great when it comes to ensuring it doesn’t move or starts peeling away. That being said, I wore the tape for around 2 hours, so I’m not sure how well it would last if I was wearing it for a longer period of time, especially given the weight of my boobs. Perky Pear recommend exfoliating beforehand and not to moisturise, so the tape has a better chance of lasting.

Surprisingly, I did feel somewhat secure wearing the tape. It definitely gave me lift and created a defined cleavage. It’s well designed for a fuller bust, but I do agree with their sizing, I feel it’s better suited for a G-cup. That being said, I would buy it again.
